Being a teenager is tough. Pressures come from every angle. Balancing family, school and friends is overwhelming at times. Sometimes teens battle low self-esteem, social anxiety, trouble in relationships with famliy members and depression.
Teenagers struggle to feel validated at times, therefore it is helpful to have an objective person to talk with and listen. As therapists with experience relating to teenagers, we work to establish a positive working relationship and helps the teen see their own strengths. The teen is then able to gain insight and apply what they gain in therapy to problem-solving in real situations.
